Dr. El-Shewemi was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in Alexandria, Egypt where he finished his dental degree from Alexandria University in 2008. Dr. El-Shewemi was exposed to the United States dental field as a Dental Assistant before earning his United States Dental License.

Dr. El-Shewemi loves implementing art and science in restoring patient’s smiles. He works hard to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all the patients he treats.

Minimalism is a school of thinking that Dr. El-Shewemi likes applying to dentistry; he is a conservative dentist who likes to use the least invasive techniques with his patients. When he is away from the world of dentistry, Dr. El-Shewemi enjoys spending time with his family and when New England’s weather allows, he loves to ride his motorcycle.

Dentists Pelham NH | Dr. Derek Levesque earned his DDS degree from Dalhousie University Faculty of Dentistry, graduating with distinction in 2014. Dr. Levesque was born and raised in Dracut, Massachusetts and lived in Halifax, Nova Scotia for 4 years where he earned his dental degree.

Prior to joining us, Dr. Levesque worked in central Massachusetts for 10 years. He now resides in New Hampshire and is very excited to be working with the team of Pelham Family Dental, providing for the community he grew up with. Dr. Levesque places emphasis on providing quality care to his patients, using the latest dental technologies and techniques. He also focuses on providing a caring and relaxing environment for his patients, as well as tailoring treatment to best suit the needs of every patient he works with.

When he is away from the world of dentistry, Dr. Levesque enjoys spending time with his wife and family. As a New England native, he values the beautiful days that New England has to offer by hiking, kayaking and biking. He also enjoys acting as an amateur chef, and traveling with his wife to different locations to experience what other countries have to offer in terms of culture and new foods.

In 2012, Sotarny earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at UMASS Lowell. She continued her education at Lincoln Technical School obtaining her certification in Medical Billing and Coding. She joined AK Dental in 2018 as a General Manager. One thing that she enjoys the most is getting back to the basics and that is working the Front Desk and getting to personally know her patients.

Moving from the fast paced life in Lowell,MA to New Hampshire with her husband and three dogs, they started to enjoy the amenities NH has to offer. They learned to enjoy life at a slower pace.

Sotarny enjoys cooking and showcasing food from Cambodian Culture. When she is not showcasing her food, she enjoys traveling to different countries with her husband and trying new ethnic foods.

Sotarny loves a good love story and how people come together as a couple. With this passion in mind, she is now a Justice of the Peace for the State of New Hampshire and enjoys officiating weddings during her time outside the office.

Stephanie, Office Manager

Stephanie began her dental career over nine years ago. She quickly moved up to becoming a remarkable patient coordinator. She likes to challenge herself in becoming better at anything she puts her mind to, so with that being said becoming an office manager was on the top of her list. That goal was accomplished over four years ago. She has a daughter named Sarayah who changed her life in the best way possible. She enjoys laughing, singing and making new memories with friends and family any chance she gets. She prides herself on getting to know you and your families and making your dental experience a memorable one.

Bridget became a part of our team in 2019 as a dental hygienist. She obtained an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Mount Ida College. She has been working as a hygienist for over 15 years, and has been a part of the dental field for over 20 years. She is passionate about the world of dentistry and continues to expand her knowledge by taking continuing education courses, to aid her in providing personalized and individualized patient care and to help patients understand the connection between oral health and overall health. When she is away from the office, Bridget loves to spend time with her husband and their 3 children.

Michelle became part of our team in 2021 as full time dental assistant. She went to Middlesex College & graduated with an associates degree in science & a certified dental assistant. She has been working as a CDA for 12 years now & loves it. She has continued to educate herself in all aspects of dentistry with hundreds of hours of clinical & online courses. She enjoys the outdoors, especially hiking the White Mountains.
